I don’t normally post trailers, however this one I feel deserves special mention due to its progressive tone, elegance and the efficiency of the draw. Although I wasn’t a huge fan of ‘Coraline’, I was much more absorbed by ‘ParaNorman’, and I am very excited to see this one.

Stop-motion animation about a little girl and her grandfather, who create a lovely machine out of the detritus washed up on a beach. Dream-like and ethereal, this poignant film reminds us that strange is good, and the weirdest can sometimes be that which we treasure most.

It’s long, but stick with it. A beautifully disturbing stop motion animation from Clyde-Henry Productions, we track the train travel of a young woman and her luggage. Existential, philosophical and occasionally terrifying. Watch this one with the lights off.
